Will taking out an IVA affect the credit of others linked to me by them living in the same household?

Welcome to the Forum ca_57,

Your IVA should not affect others that are living in the same household as all the debts are in your name. However credit report companies can make mistakes, if this does happens your housemates can write to the company and be disassociated from your debts.

Are they housemates or members of your own family with the same surname? If the latter, then they may need to file notices of disassocation with you at the credit scoring agencies.
