I think Melanie Giles MBE has a good ring to it!!...I know of at least one person who got an MBE for "services to the art world" and she didnt work half as tirelessly as Melanie does!!

I have to agree 'forum expert' doesn't seem quite enough after all the good work and time that Melanie gives to this forum. I would like to say a personal thank you Melanie, you have certainly opened my eyes to a few things over the last few months.

It's all about sharing information isn't it, and Mike you have definately opened my eyes up tonight with regard to your industry. I think we'd all support an application. And it does work I've seen one end up with the person getting a CBE.

I think everyone who gives up their valuable time to post help and advice on this forum is a champion!!!! But Melanie especially has gone that extra mile for me and taken time out to sort of some problems I've been having with my BR - but the title "Dame" always conjurs up images of Dame Edna so maybe stick to Melanie Giles CBE/OBE/MBE!!

Every year there are stories about people committing suicide because they are so badly in debt...We will probably never know if this forum has saved a life (or 2) but you never know!!

Thats why sites like this, the forum experts,and the members who post are all important to its survival and success..
