Thanks everyone who replied last night.We do have doubts as to whether the IVA is right for us.Melanie has said it might affect my husbands business, that is our main concern as we need to be able to keep the taxis to make a living.We still have finance to be paid on them.Will the finance company take them back? How does this proceedure work about a third party buying the beneficial interest in our house work? Andy has said could I make it to reading on monday, can you give me more details.

My point was about bankruptcy affecting your husband's business and not an IVA - which are designed to assist businesses in resolving their financial difficulties. I understand that you are already in an IVA?
