Hi,

I have received my IPA proposal following my BR. I disagree with the amount, given what we agreed during the BR interview.

Is it worth challenging it, or from experience from anyone here, is it a waste of time?

Best regards

Hi Andy - Hope you and the GSD's are all well!!

I am sitting in a similar position - had an amount agreed and it has now jumped by almost £500 per month. I cannot give you a definitive answer, but when I originally posted about this, the comments I got back were to challenge it as I had nothing to lose. I will be honest, I am not sure what I am going to do about it and need to think really carefully as I really don't want to upset the OR in any way.

Hi,

GSD's are fine thanks!

I dont think you can really upset the OR if you are challenging a decision, as long as you are professional and honest about the whole thing.

I am going to have a go, and will post my success or otherwise up here.

best regards

You should absolutely challenge it if you feel it is not a true reflection of your personal circumstances.

I agree with Oliver they are human beings at the end of the day and if you are honest and up
front what have you got to loose.

Getting my head around these IPA payment issue as they must be realistic and if not then we need to go back!

Keep us posted as I believe this is an area we need to watch closely!
