Egg are a very supportive creditors and are represented by Grant Thornton who are one of the most commercial creditor representatives out there.
You need at least two different creditors with three separate lines of credit to make an IVA viable.

Hi Trog,
MBNA have become a more difficult creditor over the past 6 months as they have been rejecting more cases with no real pattern as to why they reject certain cases and accept others. Its a lottery.
However your I.P would be away as to what is an acceptable offer to the creditors, what p/£ would you be offering?
Best Regards,

This Bank and Capitalone are been complained about by UK customers more than any other CC firms in hiking CC charges even with people with good CC spending behaviour. They happen to be US banks. What does this tell you given the current US credit climate.

Hi
This post details our situation
http://www.iva.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6913
We've entered into a joint full and final IVA having borrowed the money from my father in law (paying him back over ten years)

Good on your father in law, didnt realsie you can enter into a full and final settlemet from the start.
An idea my partner could ask his parents but dont think they might be as helpful

Neither did we at first and we were going to go for a nornmal 5 year IVA. It would have been very hard due to my being self employed and my income varies widely every month.
It wasn't pleasant having to tell my father in law about the debt escpecially as he is very careful with his money but obviously it was for the best in the end.
