My creditors meeting was adjourned until next Thursday my IP says that it was nothing to do with me I got 76% votes, there were modifications, she says that she will post them to me for tomorrow, I have to read and sign but they were for them so she says not to worry once that is signed and returned by next Thursday there will not be a problem. She said that I could ring if I wanted to but there would be no need as the modifications were for them to deal with. She let me change my payment date no problem so I have got the opportunity to make sure that will be the only thing I will have to pay each month, I can sort everything out with the money I had saved for their payment. I have even got enough left for a bottle of wine.[:)]

HI,
Some of my creditors requested ammednments to my proposal at my meeting mainly because it was a joint IVA with my wife. My IP says there shouldn't be a problem and is working on things tomorrow to get back to both myself and my wife.
Hopefully things will get sorted.

am really pleased that everything is going well for you, just do me a massive favour when you get the modifications through if there is anything you do not understand dont sign,go straight to your ip and ask exactley what it means,i no you no your stuff, but some people are so relieved to get there iva excepted they sign in haste and learn further down the line the consequensis of what they have signed.
Anyway as i have said Lesley, it sounds very positive have a glass of wine for me x

IVA was approved this morning.
I'm on cloud nine. Modifications were nothing to worry about, just common sense. I am in the process of clearing out all the rubbish now I can have a fresh start (rubbish being old bills and statements). Good luck to all who are awaiting creditors meetings.[:D]

Lesley
Well done !!!please keep posting as you will be able to help others.
Also good advice from Tracy h regarding fully understanding the modifications,we all feel at the time of the meeting that you just want to get the IVA signed and started but its best to take a step back and study it fully.
With Wyn,s IVA approved and hopefully lotsofdebt we are having a good success rate at the moment.
Lets hope that it continues.

Congratulations Lesley, I'm really pleased for you!
You mentioned a 'joint IVA' - I asked about a joint IVA when with PayPlan (we're with Melanie now) and PayPlan said there is no such thing as a joint IVA! [:0]
We have a number of individual and joint debts and would like to go for a joint IVA if it exists. If you dont mind me asking, how is yours joint?
Best
