Just thought i'd share the joy/relief having got confirmation this afternoon that my proposal was accepted
Only modification was an expected one - which was Northern Rock wanting a 6 year rather than 5. Cant complain at that when you balance up against the near quarter century it would have taken to pay back through a DMP.
Thanks to Melanie & Tomas for taking care of things for me - like a lot of people on here I feel very comfortable with you gus representing/supervising for me.
thanks
Damian

Thank you for those lovely words Damian, and of course we are all pleased for your result back at HQ. Looking very forward to working with you over the next six years - just wish it could have been five, but we do fully understand Northern Rock's views, and are glad that you have as well.

What are Northern Rocks views? I would like to know this as my partner has a debt with them. A ten year loan that is four years into it.

They have a policy that if there are more than five years owing on the original loan at the time the IVA is entered into, they will seek an extension of terms to a maximum of six years.
