i applied for an iva alone and was approved,does my wife credit records will be affected?

Quite possibly, as you will be deemed to be linked by association as husband and wife.

Once your IVA is notified to the credit reference agencies (equifax, experian etc.) it will appear on her record due to you both living at the same address, as does any credit or defaults of anybody living at the address. However, this is unlikely to affect her credit worthiness (rating).
