My IVA was approved today. My meeting was at 11.15,my IP phoned at 11.48am and left a message, saying it was good news. I called back he was on the phone, then we had a fire alarm!!!! I evenually spoke to soeone the office at 2.15. It has been approved with some modifications, they seem to be around wording and what is classed as a breach etc. the company (clearstart) have lowered their fees as thats one of the creditors mods.
I am sooo relieved.
I have found great comfort in this forum and will continue to post, I aim to come along to one of your meetings, I would like to put a face to some of the names on here.
Thank you so much, from now on I will only be spending what I can afford, that may mean less luxuries but I dont care, this is a second chance and I am grasping it.

Did any of the creditors ask for an increase in payments Marsha? As this seems to be the norm these days.

No Melanie, I will have annual reviews and will need to produce a p60 along with 3 payslips. There was no mention of creditors wanting more money. A representative of the company did go through all with me. They will send me the paperwork along with a standing order form.I was suprised to be honest, I thought they would want a better return. I guess over thefive years they will get a better return as my pay will go up 3,000 in that time to what it is now, thats before cost of living pay rise.
My first payment will go out next month.
