Hi All
At last a date has been set for my creditors meeting (08th feb 12.00),but the phone calls seem to be increasing, any idea as to why this would happen they must all be aware of the meeting taking place

Hi Andy

There is no rhyme or reason as to why creditors are increasing their pressure upon you. Don't forget that these are major financial institutions, where internal communication may not be running at optimum levels.

At least you now have something positive to confirm - ie the impending meeting date.

Good luck and fingers crossed for the 8th. Let us know the outcome.

This increase is probably either coincidental or due to the fact that you may have been advised to stop paying your creditors. Try to rise above it and focus on the light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi Andy,

Just to put your mind at rest it would seem quite usual for creditors to make more contact in between receiving the proposal and the Meeting of creditors. There is no real logic as to why this happens but from feedback we have received from our clients this is a common trait!
Hope this information helps and good luck for the 8th.

Kind Regards

Nicola
