well the saga continues, lol, the auctioneer telephoned today to say the buy back on the car was £4k, well i just sunk, i knew i didn't have it, anyhow my dad came to visit me, and i told him, i even got hubby to phone them from work to see if we could get the figure down, but he was having none of it as he said he was selling it privately and it would fetch a much higher price, my dad said he would talk to my mum, and guess what? they came before well teatime and told me they would buy the car back for me, so all being well they are returning the car tomorrow at a cost of £50 as not taxed, all thanks to my mum and dad, how i will ever repay them for everything they do for me i will never know.
just wanted to share some good news with you for once, i am so happy as we can still all go everywhere together now, so fingers crossed nothing goes wrong between now and 3 pm tomorrow and the car will be back on my drive.

That news has made my day Kerri. What wonderful parents you have, you must be so proud. I still can't believe the injustice of this, but perhaps you will use your "holiday" fund to pay them back!

thanks everyone, has made my day too!
yes melanie they are fab parents, i know they wanted to help so much after the last time they offered but its pride that stands in the way and i don't want to take their savings, but as they said its an investment to them also as we will all still be able to go everwhere together, i am so over the moon, and yes they will be getting the holiday fund each month although they have said not to worry but i will worry and they will get it all back.

Kerri I'm delighted for you. I just hope all these footie tournaments you go to dont result in the next generation of Liverpool football players. Lol.
Really, really pleased for you.

Excellent news...... I hope it came back with more fuel than you sent it with !!!
My son has 4-5 tournaments lined up for the summer all over the northwest.... the joys of summer football !

thanks storm, our tournaments have not been set yet, but with 2 boys we do do a lot of tournaments, over the northwest and cheshire, its all good fun and a cheap day out, at least i know i can take them now.
my mum and dad were worrying incase the OR came back and seized the car again, which they can't, i don't know if its worth putting it in dads name as really his now, or would it look like i was trying to hide assets, the man from the auction told me they had a buyer for it who was willing to pay a lot more than the £4k
goodness me worrying about everything and nothing again.
