Hi Thugusher and congratulations on completing your IVA.

Your credit record is still going to be shot, so I doubt if anyone would touch you at the moment.

Don't get a credit card! Too risky to fall into more debt! if you need a card for travel/expenses, etc get a pre-paid c/card. You do not need to undergo a credit check for a pre-paid card. I have a Tuxedo & it works ok. Avoid further debt temptation at all cost!

Hi there thugusher
I would think that you will find it difficult at present to get one as the iva is stll on your credit file for six years from the start of the iva, so if only just completed then you will still have probs for a further year.
Personally I wont want one at the end of mine I dont want any credit again, but can understand the need to rebuild your credit if you want to get a mortgage etc.

Interesting site Andy ... strange but looking at it simply scared me ... the mere thought of a credit card and spending money which is not my own again.

Does it work in helping to rebuild credit history in terms of getting back on to a high street rate mortgage I wonder?
