I've seen in a lot of topics that you need to state a reason for making a f&f settlement offer, but what kind of reason are the creditors looking for?

I have been offered a lump sum to clear my IVA and obviously want to make them an offer but is that reason enough?

Please help! I am writing my offer letter at the moment!

Many Thanks

Your reason is a good one - someone has offered you the money and you wish to accept that offer to clear your IVA. This money would not be available to you for any other purpose, and will have to be repaid from your disposable income which is presently being paid into the IVA.

Is the money coming from an independent third party?
