I am approx 21 months into my IVA and my mother in law has offered to help me out if she can with money for a final settlement of my IVA.

So far my contributions are 4,557 (@217 per month) and I paid uplift last year of 6,629

The total of the IVA is 13,700

Also I have a remortgage clause in my agreement which states that if theres over 5k equity in my property then I would pay that over to the IVA or take another 12 months payments.

My question is how much to offer? I doubt there is any equity in the property but will obviously check this.

All help greatly appreciated. I'm with Melanie btw.

Oh I'm sure Melanie will pick up on this and offer her expert advice, why not drop her an email or call her or one of her team? They're always approachable and quick to respond.

If you have no equity I would think an offer of £217 x 39 months left would be the kind of figure you are looking at to offer, so around £8400
