hi,
I applied for an IVA in dec 1998 which was approved . It failed in 2001 due to me being off work with depression. Since then none of the creditors ahve contacted me and I have been a 'good boy' with account management . I am now in a posistion to need a mortgage ,I have check with the 2 leading credit reference agencies and the iva register but none have any record of my iva so has it been cleared from my records now allowing me to start again
Regards
Andy

Hi Andy did you actually pay of your debts,is this why creditors did not contact you was it a debt management program you paid your debts of with, havnt heard of account management,i would have thought, something would have shown up on your credit file,if you had satisfied your accounts

Yes - the IVA would have been removed from the Individual Voluntary Arrangements register as soon as your Supervisor filed his notice of ceasing to act.

I cannot say the same for the credit referencing agencies so you will need to check those directly.
