Hi there, I currently have 3 years to go, paying £400 per month. Is it possible for me to settle the IVA now for less than this amount. I will soon inherit some money (not a fortune) and would like to try and get the IVA settled now.

What should I do, and how much might it take to settle this?

hi,
i am not to sure but i think this will be classed as a windfall and your creditors will expect it to be paid off your debt. wait for an expert to get back to you though

Sorry - you shouldn't look to settle an IVA early if you have prior knowledge of a windfall - and the windfall already forms part of your arrangement so will be required on top of your future contributions. Are you struggling to make the payments, or would you just like to be out of the arrangement?
