Hi, 3 months in to IVA paying £245 per month. This was on the condition we thought our son would be starting pre reception class at school come september (then our payments would go up to £375) as we would no longer be paying childcare. Rung the school today and they said it may be september (they cant confirm this) if not it will definetly be January.

would i just contact our IP and state this and see if we can carry on with the £245 until this time>?

Absolutely - but you will need to offer some form of plan to address the likely arrears which will build up for those four months.

Hi
Your IP will probably allow you to pay an extra month or two at the end of your IVA to cover any shortfall.

I agree with Mel and Andy, this should be no problem at all as your IP is likely to allow you to make up the shortfall at the end of the IVA.
