Hi there, i cant seem to find any information about iva refusal. You see myself and my husband were both rejected and as i understand it they have adjourned til monday(is this where they offer an increased payment). So if the proposal is again rejected what do you suggest i do then. I am thinking of the interest that grows on our bills, which would put me into more debt than i was originally in. O im so confused and miserable. Kind regards

hi mitch, please dont despair, your ip will adjourn your creditors meeting to try and persuede creditors that they have put your best propoal forward, and try and find a way that your creditors may except your iva, creditors will often come back with modifications that you really need to give serious thought to,but until you hear back from your ip,i would just wait, its not unusual to adjourn a creditors meetings.
I think you should think about alternatives only if you do get rejected, you have enough worry at the moment,i really do hope you get a good result,im no expert,im sure you will get advise and support, goodluck

Hi Mitch
If its been adjourned hen its not been rejected outright.Your Ip may be trying to get some creditors to vote who didn,t bother before etc etc.
If it does infact fail then you could look into a debt management plan, but your IP can advise you
