I know I have 2 years left but thought I would get on with checking me default dates etc... I have been lucky in that only one is incorrect. So, being proactive, I contacted the agency and asked them to dispute. To my utter surprise the creditor concerned (Nationwide) have declined to change the date? Now, do they have to change it? They are a year out to the default date but it would still clear within the 6 year time frame - so would it make any diference?

The default date should be correct so they do need to change it, however it may be prudent to wait until you've completed your IVA and tidy up your credit file then as other things may surface between now and then.

Wait until you have finished and then request change ... Sending copy of your completion certificate normally gets it done
