Trying to sort out some information to help me make a decision. I originally took out a 110% mortgage but am not sure how an IVA would deal with that. Recent mortgage statement says £80k is secured and £15k unsecured. Would the £15k be added to my other unsecured debt or would it be treated as a part of the mortgage for this purpose?

Hi,

I believe that the unsecured part would be included in an IVA. A professional will advise for definite later.

I recommend though that you seek professional advice. Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. You will get free and impartial advic as to all the options available to you. Give one or two a ring.

Hi
It would be added to your other unsecured debt. Is it a Northern Rock Together mortgage ?
