Hi all

Just want to shout from rooftops i have 12 days to go until last payment comes out the bank [:D]

i somewhat dont know how to feel its all a bit surreel if im honest as i have been doing this for 5 years now!

just awaiting my annual review to be finalised they had this nearly 4 weeks ago and still not heard anything is this common?? its with GT and never had a problem with them in all honesty and then send in my 2 final payslips i am 100% done Hopefully [:D]

Brilliant .... So close .... Not long to go and you will have the pleasure of cancelling the direct debit ! Have you thought what you are going to do with the money each month ?

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

well the first payment i dont have to make is buying my xmas presernts for the last 5 years i havent been able to spoil anyone and esp the last 3 years with my bf so this year hes getting something special

then i think after that its going in the bank i havemt had the money for 5 years so im not missing it! i want to do my driving lesons buy a car in cash and evenrtually buy a house togeher with my other half so thats the plan! oh and a baby lol i am 32 now and still younng and now with no debt wahooo and a very sensible bf who only has a mortgage and nothing else so future all rosey :)

your plan sounds a good one .... We too have saved our IVA payment each month since it ended (all bar two months when we moved) ... So nice to have a comfort zone with a few quid stashed away !

itsbeen a long time coming and if im honest i never thought id get here i remember the beginnign of year saying 12 payments to go and now its there its like whoh quite surreal feeling

i must admit im glad i did it when i did because of how the country is now recessin jobs etc i dont think if i had to do it now id manage at all especially when i read posts by others struggling and there only just a few months in i guess i was one of lucky ones lived in shared home with my best friend no kids etc so i adjusted quite well:(

Great news!! I've only got 98 days left in my IVA. We're going to have such a fab party when the last payment goes out on 28th Feb. I've booked a week off so I've got a while to recover from partying. Enjoy your new debt free future. I couldn't have done this without help from my family and a few friends that I confided in.
