I was 28/29 depending on the time of year! I loved 80's music as well - still do. Thomson Twins were one of my favourites.

I was only 9! I love 80's music, grew up with it! I was mad on Wham and then A-ha and Erasure. Still play Bon Jovi all the time!

I was 17, thin as a rake, fit as a butcher's dog and without female distractions.....

Isn't 1982 the year in which the very first Now That's What I Call Music album came out?

OMG, I really am depressed beyond belief now.

Regards.

I too was 17 and started my first job in January of that year after leaving school. I was there for three days, and then it snowed, and snowed and snowed - we were literally holed up for nearly two weeks in West Wales before the big thaw.

How could any 17 year old male be without female distractions Size! We don't believe you!

Size may have been like me Melanie, a slow starter. I married my first and only girlfriend and I didn't meet her until I was 21, and my decade was the 60's .... the decade of free love LOL ... someone else got my share me thinks [:D][:D]

I loved the 60's as well Ray, young, and with no money worries. The free love bit passed me by as I didn't hit that sort of age until the end of the decade!

Made up for it afterwards![:D][:D]

I was 13 in 1982.
There was a program on recently for 1983 and a few of the artists played live on the show. They certainly looked alot older.
It was bizarre to see Kajagoogoo and Nick Kershaw etc sing - they sang live, but Paul Young bl**dy mimed!!!!
I was a Duranie and had all their pictures on my wall.
