Hello

Does anyone know when we should expect our IP to send us information on our first annual review? Our creditors meeting last year was 25 August so I would have expected something by now. Is it something we should instigate or does the IP contact us?

Hi - I would have thought you would have received something by now. Our IVA was approved on 15th Sept and we got our first review documents in July last year and have just received our second review documents. Might be worth emailing or ringing your IP to check.
F&F approved May 13 - just awaiting Completion Certificate - moving to a new Debt Free life !!

Some leave it right until the last minute ( indeed, we have had one poster who got through her IVA without a single review ---- recipe for disaster). It can do no harm to give them a gentle nudge ---- after all you share the responsibility for the smooth running of the IVA.

You should get something through soon Dumbeh. It all depends upon yoru company as to what they require from you.

There is still time for them to contact you.

Usually you are asked to confirm incomings and outgoings if any have increased/decreased you need to provide proof... hence a good idea to keep petrol and shopping receipts. Also you may be asked for the last 3 months payslips and bank statements and possibly a P60.

I found it useful to keep a spread sheet.. set up from the 1st income and expenditure reveiw, and adding a column on for each yearly review... this way I could make a comparrison and see the increases/decreases easily enough and be able to explain the reasons for any changes.

It will depend upon what they have asked for. I have never had to provide receipts for anything, or proof of extra expenditure. I don't have to do bank statements either.

It's all down to the individual IP company.

I keep an annual review spreadsheet too! Its scary how much things are going up in price and only one thing has gone down - I cancelled my life insurance when I got it free in my new job otherwise!

I don't do a spreadsheet - can't get on with them at all. I just do a list of my expenses and just update it each year.
