IVA approved - was arranging for s/o to go out for 1st of month - and assumed this had to start 1st August -I could do it for last working day of month for when I get paid. so could I make it 31 Aug paydate which would give me a bit more contingency now.

If your IVA has already been approved then the end of Aug would take you over the 31 days that are allowed before the first payment has to be made. So assuming what i have been told is correct then the 31st of August will be too late for the first payment.

But wouldn't Elizabeth have already paid her first payment when she returned her proposal? Kazzy x

Thats what i don't understand Kazzy,
I am with Melanie's Team and i payed my First Installment when the Proposal was being put forward and if Accepted Your First Payment was already Paid in!!!!
I thought this was Standard Anyway and i had no gripes with this as i wanted to get the thing up and running as soon as possible.
I don't know what has happened with Elizabeth's Case.

If she has paid the first instalment before the proposal has been agreed then i believe you can choose what day of the month your payment goes out. I dont have to make my first payment until 31 days after the meeting-assuming it gets approved. Not all companies operate the way Melanies does

Payments prior to meetings are common but it is up to the IP firm and the way they operate.
