Oh my where is the year going?! I don't like it, it's going way to fast, but yet the remainder of my IVA feels so slow!

Looking back its been a busy year again for everyone on here, babies, weddings, christenings!

I hope everyone is getting on ok with their Christmas planning & shopping! Please can someone nudge me when sainsburys do their half price toy event, it's usually in October!

3 4 2 on toys is still on till tomorrow in Argos & boots have their 3 4 2 on aswell x[:)]
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Julie might be the best one for the half price toy event...

I've not started yet but have started to compile a list, I usually do mine on the Sunday after the FF Xmas meet but sadly not going this year so not sure when I'll go. x

I've just started to think about it - got rid of gifts on last years list and just waiting to start the new one.

I've started late this year, but I'm being more frugal than years before, buying 2 cars in the space of a year has really messed things up.
Boys have a main present off Santa & are getting bits they need like slippers, PJs etc, and a traditional board game each in the Santa sack, they've asked for guess who & twister! There getting older now so not so much toys there after, youngest still loves Lego though.
Leah is a whole new fun ball game for us & it's hard to not go mad! But she won't understand & probably enjoy the paper & the boxes more!

I can't get into the Christmas spirit yet! I hate Christmas shopping so I'll probably do it online.

I've told my Mum to cut down on the sweets this year - she buys those big tins and there is really no need for it!

I heard mutterings about the Christmas dinner at work today so I kept my head down as I have no intention of going!

If the sweets are there I'll eat them but if they're not I don't miss them if that makes sense.

I don't do Christmas meals out at all with work or otherwise not my thing. x

My work are pretty generous - partners can go and they also pay for taxis. I just don't want to go!

I don't do the evening Christmas parties at work, the only I do is the lunch we have which is basically funded by our lottery syndicate and it is in the firms time so I don't mind that!!

I've got a few ideas now of what to buy daughter and grandchildren's presents will be chosen by their parents apart from the 8 year olds and she keeps hers at mine as she's got her own bedroom here x
