Ray, I'm so pleased that everything has been sorted for you.

I agree with Lilly and Skippy - what isn't much for one is a fortune for another and posters should remember that and be more sensitive when replying.

We chose ours because we were in a DMP with a fee paying firm and stepson told us about Payplan who weren't and it was them who suggested the IVA.

I know what you mean though ladyh - I know who we would have chosen if we had found this place in time.

I've emailed you by the way.

It certainly is. We'd seen adverts before and I'd mentioned it to hubby but the only one we rang was MDC and they told us we should sell our car and we would have to go bankrupt!

When it all happened to us, we had never even heard of an IVA - an IVA - whats that? Then going online to check it out, we were confronted with HUNDREDS of companies. There was simply no time to do in depth research and there certainly wasnt a "Which" IVA page available so we read as many as we could and selected a few that we thought would be worth approaching. After some coversations we selected the company that made us feel most as ease........in our case, they panned out to be less than perfect, but we did get our IVA fast and apart from a few issues, have had a relatively trouble free journey so far......but you just dont know do you. You put all your desperate faith in total strangers hands and have to hope they will do right by you.....I have do admit that our IP is a great guy but he is hard to get to and the account manager we normally go through always makes us feel like naugty Children - She talks dwon to us and makes us feel stupid. We had an issue this week, but with steely determination, successfully managed to get our IP to call us and by doing so he gave us his mobile phone number.....so now we can speak to him more freely! :-)

What a great IP for doing that. But a shame it had to come to this. I hope he has had a word with the manager - there is no place for intimidating behaviour in this profession.
