hi have just done my i and e forms and i now have only 199 disposable but my payments are 282 i have had to reduce contigency and perscriptions, glasses and some travel to actually get to that figure basically its a hike in utility bills a £10 here or there on them adds up what gets me with the fuel bills is i have a £112 on gas credit and £79 on electric and they upped my monthly payments form 30 each to 44 and 55 respectively even though have credit ctax is more water is more travel more my hubbys car insurance is about 40 more than figures as he is a new driver but in jan may go down
am waiting to hear from jobs ive applied for havent even had a letter saying they ve recieved them yet
so am worrying that due to the £83 deficit my iva will fail as its a lot lower dividend than was accepted

Your IP will be able to see how much your expenditure has gone up. He/she also knows that you are actively looking for work and once you are employed then your income will go up. I would think they would be sympathetic to a lowering of your payments, at least in the short term, with a view to them going back up when you get a job.

Can you not ask your gas/electric if you can put them back down to what you were paying? That would be a help.
