Congratulations Mrs S - gosh Skippy just noticed your total posts, you really are an expert.

From my point of view this forum has been a godsend, not just for the advice I've personally been given but to read other posts to see our situation is not unique. Sad to say but reading other problems puts some of my "dramas" into perspective.

I also enjoy reading the blogs - I feel as if I know you all but will prob never get to meet you.

Ah thanks Julie, would love to. My mum came from Llandudno so we spent a lot of time there when we were kids as there was still family there. Unfortunately, we have no family there anymore but my Dad and I often go back for a walk and a scone in the cafe. we even went to see my Mum's old house where she grew up, the people who live there now were coming out at the tme and let us go in and have a nose.[:)] X

Hi Mrs Skint

I often read your posts, and love your positive attitude.

When I was going through my IVA to begin with, i found it very stressfull and even when i started i had sleepless nights becuase of unanswered questions i had, when i found this site it was such a relief, the advice from Melaine is brilliant she's an IP but down to earth and shows a realistic view, and then theirs Andy whos been through and he answers are real becuase hes been their and also every one else such as your self the support is brill, without i think i would feel my life was on old.

The only thing that could make this forum better for people who are considering an IVA is that it becomes mandantory for all IP's to tell their clients about it becuase it is so helpfull and puts your mind at rest. You also understand every body else as the same questions as you.

Its also a great feeling when you can offer people advice or opioion becuase we have been growing through it.

I found that 5 years is not that long, even though i have applied for a f & f, that another two payments, which is 20 in total, thats a third way through it, in Feb 2009 thats two years, and 6 months after that its half way.

Mrs Skint's input into the forum is even more real and credible than any of the professional experts - in that she and Mr Skint have actually been there and lived through the experience and come out the other side.

No matter how many qualifications and letters people have after their name can replicate that sort of support to the other forum members - and she is getting very technically competent as well that I'm beginning to think I am going to get the sack!

Here's to the next 2,000 and to the end of your toothache for good Lisa.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Well done Mrs Skint ... I remember the days when you used to look over Mr Skint's shoulder!

Your posts on the Forum are always so inspirational.
