I have to apologise to everyone who has posted on the 2010 Fat Fighters thread - I have accidentally deleted it. I had posted but for some reason my post was showing twice, so I tried to delete the duplicate, but ended up deleting the whole post.

I'm really sorry to everyone who has posted on the thread, I feel really bad about this.

I've emailed Admin, so I'm now just keeping my fingers crossed!

What I was trying to say before I deleted the thread was that I'm glad Mikey is a bit better x

Thanks Skippy and I'm going to see him later, they've put the cast above his elbow now to stop him using his wrist at all so I'm sure he'll be healed in no time x

I went to see him last night and although still very wary and clingy I know he'll get there soon. Bless him he's such a dot. Thanks for all your good wishes and you may wonder why the mad woman is up early and has been since 4.15am....yes it was a phone call from MIL asking how we were and had I seen my hubby lately, looking to my left I definitely could confirm I had! GRRRR!

Glad he's on the mend Lesley. It is hard when you can't explain what is happening to them.

Good old MIL eh? I take it hubby hadn't heard the phone then! I always make sure ours is on his side of the bed so it wakes him up first!

[:D] Skip! I think a new post is better, fresh start and all that [:)]

Glad little one is on the mend Lesley and as for MIL...[:0] at least she was civil to you [:D]

I've been really organised this week, have been taking salads into work and eating breakfast everyday. The new office is spread over 3 floors and I'm making sure I go nand talk to people rather than phone/email, so I'm not sat on my bum all day. On top of that, Dobby's been having a walk in the evening too.

Fingers crossed this god work will show somewhere on Monday!

Lesley
Glad he's feeling a little better x
4.15 am - OMG. I am like Jan and have the phone(and the alarm clock) over the hubbys side of the bed and then I just poke him in the ribs if he doesn't hear it.
Julie - it sounds like you've been doing really well and you do sound super organised.

My daughter has been home for 4 days and whenever she arrives complete chaos ensues. She is off to Italy for 6 months as a singer in a posh hotel in Sorrento (lucky thing). And has been offered a week singing in Portugal before that so she is off on the 24th April and I won't see her til October (unless I can save pennies to afford a flight out there to see her in the meantime). But whenever she is around food plans go out of the window - although I have tried to stick as well as I could.
When I was younger I did what I knew - now I know better I do better!

She's being sectioned at 2.30pm, it's 3.55pm now and not heard anything so I'm sure it's happening now just sometimes takes a while to get all the people in place. I just hope this time and I know I say this everytime they keep her in longer, she is so ill and they let her out too soon.

Phone is on my side and he did wake but normally when we know she's using this type of behaviour we unplug it so we don't hear it.

I do hope they get her sorted Lesley. She could do with being somewhere permanent couldn't she?

Your daughter is so lucky Debtfree - I hope you manage to get out to see her.

I wish she would accept residential care Kallis as then it would take a worry from us, but it's unlikely she will as they'll treat her under section for 2-3 weeks and let her home and the whole cycle will start again with me being abused by her in the process. x

I presume they can't keep her there if she doesn't agree?

I do feel sorry for you Lesley, it must be awful being treated the way you are.

Wish there was something I could do to help.

Thanks Jan that means a lot. Whilst she is sectioned under the mental health act, she is locked up on a section 3 but they reduce according to how she cooperates then she's released temporarily in the first instance and then discharged....its madness but it's the system. x

It seems silly when they know what she is like, and it's you that has to put up with the flack afterwards.
