Have you spoken to your IP firm to ask how the voting is going? That might put your mind at rest.

Yes Ian I have - they have only rec'd 2 votes so far one from Citi Card who hold 1.5% and GT Capital One who hold about 4% both voted yes. It is TIX who hold the lions share - could I ask you do they vote for the individual accounts or do they vote wholesome as it were?

Thanks for your support ladyc

I can help you there. Tix are likely to vote primarily on the basis of the overall dividend so they will potentially be looking at the I&E to see if they can squeeze a few quid more out of you. I would suspect they will only really vote to reject if the dividend is unacceptable or they can't reach agreement with your IP over the mods. I know they are very busy at the moment so they may vote on the last minute. They vote on behalf of each of their creditors but in the same way for all of them.

Lloyds TSB are represented by KPMG who look primarily at the viability of the IVA. Clearly as I don't know your details Eva I can't comment, but for example if your proposal only achieves a sensible dividend by unrealistically shaving expenditure then they do vote to reject if they think it's going to fail after a few months.

Hope that clarifies

Thanks Ian, the dividend is 22p in the pound as apposed to 0p in BR. So my understanding of that is they couldnt vote no for halifax loan and yes for halifax c card.

As far as I can see the i&e are very realistic and very achievable, i am in it for the long haul.

Thanks for your help again.

That's right Eva, all TIX creditors will vote the same way.

Keep in close touch with the IP firm. If you haven't rung them today, give them a call. A bit of peace of mind is part of what you are paying them for.

thanks Ian, im with PP and have been emailing them constantly over the last day or so but the girl is brill who I am dealing with sends me immediate emails back reassuring me - says she will keep me posted about the votes as they come in whether it be good or bad. So far they have been excellent as a company, a lot better with this than they have been with my DMP.

Good luck for tomorrow! Iknow we don't have the same creditors, but my hubby's was 22p/£ in the proposal, but once the meeting came along, with the true "costs" for IVA, it actually went up to 30p/£ as the IP had estimated over the odds for charges, so this could happpen to you too, putting you in a better postion.
