Point missed again.

When selecting your IP company look at who can complete your IVA in timely matter. This is now a major thing people should consider when they consider the IP company they choose.

The forum should be pushing IPs on this forum to be 'Best in Class for closures' rather than just accepting these delays.

With the greatest of respect Herbekj, it is YOU who have missed my point. Closure speed will vary considerably within companies as well as between companies. It will also alter from year to year, depending on prevailing circumstances and creditor behaviour. So, how do you rate a moveable feast?

(Without naming companies)... Last year XXX were very fast in closing, this year they are besieged with various backlogs and are slow in even starting the closure process. Where will they be in 5 years time ? Anybodies guess.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I personally close all of my cases as quickly as I can, but I currently have three cases which should have closed early last year on grounds of failure or due completion, where I am unable to do so because HMRC will not submit a final claim due to backlogs within their own system. My hands are tied, and despite continual chasing there seems nothing anyone can do to speed the process up. Other IP firms will be in the same position as well - but we should all be striving to close cases at the most early and appropriate time - and I generally believe that this is the case across the board.
