You can ask him - after all you have to get things ready for the baby and they don't come cheap.

They are not going to want it to fail now, I'm sure they will be amenable.

Thanx Jan,

I'm going to draft the email tonight now I've got my IP's email, as it has to be quicker than the post.
I'm hoping that at the review they will look favourably at my case as I've never missed a payment and have always submitted everything on time, reveiw is due at the end of February, so if I get it to him before then, he'll have everything to submit in the review.
Full & Final accepted, last payment is due on the 31st July 2009

I've asked for my payments to be reduced from £400 a month down to £200, also have asked for my overtime/bonus clause to be removed, so if I get any extra between now and August I can put it towards my baby fund.
The variation meeting is set for 6th April, so hopefully everything will be ok, when I spoke to a lady in the office she said origianl dividend worked out at 32p in £1, with me paying in extra over the last 3 years, the return on my new proposal will be approx 29p in £1, so hopefully this will be enough to settle the IVA, the lady said she couldn't say either way if it would be accepted or not as it depends who votes which way and what criteria they have to fulfil, so i'm a bit concerned and can't wait until 6th April to see the outcome of the vote.
On a more positive note, pregnancy is going well, little pip is proving to be no problem at all, no sickness or anything so at least I haven't got that to deal with as well, lol.

Very best of luck as seems a really good offer. Delighted to hear pregnancy going well. My wife is due our first in three weeks and thankfully everything has been fine so far too. Try not to worry about the variation meeting and I would take the date as a good omen. April 6th is the start of the new tax year and fingers crossed it is a totally new start for you too.

Thanks for your kind words and I will of course let you know if I have time to switch my computer on. The wife wants me to spend my paternity at home but I want to be down the pub handing out cigars. I guess I know who will win that debate.

Knowing Michael, and his lovely wife Margaret, as well as I do, and also having a knowledge of good Irish traditions of wetting the baby's head (which always seem to last for several days) I would imaging that there will be much time handing out cigars in the bars of Londonderry and Donegal!

Wishing you both the very best of luck with everything, and I cannot wait to see the piccies of the little one as soon as you can please.
