These companies make me laugh. I just did one based on owing 25k-50k not a homeowner and being unemployed.

The results....

1. Apply for an IVA as my debts are more that 10k[?...I have no job!!!

2. re-mortage[?] i dont own a home!!!

3. a DMP[?] quite difficult without a job

So why give me this false information its obvious i cant dome any of them so theyare just wasting peoples time. I did not give correct contact details as i dont want to be bombarded with phone calls. [:(!]

I think that they are probably used by companies trying to persuade you than an IVA is the best option for their own financial gain!

I suggest that 30 minutes with an Insolvency Practitioner might be far better than 30 seconds with a piece of pre-programmed software - but nevertheless some of these things do act as useful guides.

Your probably correct. I just found it odd that there was no mention of Bankruptcy when the form i filled out was to see if it was an option.

I did it out of curiosity really.

More like a company with a bad programmer.. lol.
A 5 minute free call with a qualified advisor will be fine. Don't think an IP would spare 30 mins for a frontline call. Although Melanie probably would... :)

Why wouldn't an IP do that? IP's that refuse to engage with their clients don't deserve to have any. I know that post will make me unpopular, but I am afraid that is just the way I see things.

I agree too Melanie. I don't know what I would have done without our numerous chats and face to face meeting. Your comment definitely won't make you unpopular on here, where debtors outnumber IPs!
