Just reading your posts. I have just made my first payment, 59 to go, but if I had not gone down the route of an IVA I would have been paying for years to come, a really terrifying thought.
This will be the first xmas in, well so long I cannot remember that I will be having a CC free xmas. I will buy my son something nice but not the usual hundreds of pounds prob just 50.00. I have told friends no presents just cards please, they dont know about my situation but I have just said its gets stressful and difficult to know what to get etc.
The wonderful feeling I will have in January when I do not have to open CC bills that are thrugh the roof will make it al worthwhile. Its such a false way of living, dont you agree?

I agree with Marsha1.
5 years is a long time, but when you consider the alternative i believe the IVA route was the best choice for us.

Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
(7 down, 53 to go)
Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
IVA accepted May 2007.
Extended by 12 months in lieu of equity March 2012.
F+F offer accepted May 2012.
C of C received August 2012.
IVA dropped off credit file 24th May 2013.
