In June this year I finally completed my IVA after starting in 2008. I had accrued debts to the tune of £90k and whilst the IVA route was a bit up and down DFD kepted me on track until the end. They were fantastic and sites such as this also helped me to keep focused. Yes I have learnt from my mistakes and this has made me much more frugal. The really good news is that I was acepted for a Capital One card and have a DD to clear the full amount each month and now have been acepted for the better credit card with Lloyds Classic card. I have a Halifax Rewards account too who were one of my IVA creditors. I have gleaned up my CRA files and all Barr one are offf. I will never get in to debt again but need to improve my score from very poor to higher. The best current accounts I found who were helpful and did not charge were the Coop and Nationwide.
