I can believe it Cath! I think we have all been there, regardless of what IP we choose.

As long as people are happy with the choice of IP and they get there in the end, that's all that matters.

You can have a stress free Christmas and New Year now.

Yep Melanie.....more good results today....fingers crossed you can provide more good news for those with meetings still to come. You and the team are real life changers for many of us and long may it continue!

This will be the first Xmas for me and mine without credit but strangely it feels much better than normal. Cath and Dan enjoy a good sleep and wake up knowing you can now see a light at the end of the debt tunnel!

I can't remember the last time Melanie had anyone rejected - at least not on here anyway.

Kallis I found the whole IVA process so mentally draining that when I did get a positive result it took a couple of days to actually sink in......it was such a massive reduction in my stress levels when i first got the approval news as it meant myself and my family actually did have a future and I think such a massive decision can take time to sink in. I really could not contemplate any other alternative.

For me it is still sinking in but I am feeling like a new woman with a new lease of life. The steam has been let off and is gradually leaving me, that is how much it had consumed me, which I truly didn't realise until today.

Emotionally this has been a truly strange day. I've never felt emotion like this, even when my children were born.

I just felt a total feeling of relief immediately. My money worries were sorted, and although it was going to take a while, I was on the road to recovery.

Apologies Cath - I was actually replying to Pennyless's post, but you beat me with your reply!

It was as though a weight had been lifted from my shoulders - no more letters or phone calls and the knowledge that in five years we would have no more debt other than the mortgage.

Morning Everyone! [:D]

Well done Cath sorry I couldnt reply sooner I had to go to that funeral in the afternoon so it was a bit of an odd day for me. However I do feel very different today... more relaxed! I have spent too much time stressing about things and like you dont think I have ever felt like this... such an emotional day!

Glad we got thru this and thank you to everyone on here for all your help along the way! And a big thank you to Mel and her team of great people... you have made our year!
