Hi All and happy new year, ( sorry if this goes on a bit) [:I]

I have been in my IVA since March 2007 and paid every month on the dot and have never missed a payment before my IVa and during i have used this site both for advice on my IVA and work related issues (ie bullying etc).after posting my last question on here last year just before my baby was born in june i found myself Homeless, expecting a baby and very worried about what would be instore for us, after receiving advice from kallis3, michael people,s, melanieGiles and size5, Rainbow, andy davie, doomandgloom, julie, to name but a few, Well after my last post and taking their advice, I contact My IP and asked them to put a offer of full and final to my creditors, well a meeting was set for 9th december which was cancelled due to one of the creditors not believing that my situation had changed. the next meeting was arrange for the thursday after 16th December 2010 after providing a new expenditure form. Which to be honest i forgot it was that day. Whilst i was getting a few bits for my little boy in town with my mum i received a phone call to say that my creditors had all finally agreed to accept what i had paid over the last 3 years as a full and final payment, (over £13,000 in total). I could have cried in the shop (well i nearly did) what a fantastic xmas present for me and my littleboy and what an perfect start to a new year Debt free and a beautiful little boy as well - just have to find a house now lol,s.
I just want to say a VERY great big thankyou, without all the help and support of everyone on here i dont think i would have got throught the last three years but especially the last year, you have all be a tower of strength, offering good practical and great advice to everyone who asks and being a shoulder to cry on for those of us who need it. Once again thankyou all sooooo much a new start and a new beginning (if i dont have the cash i dont have... and i wish everyone a wonderful 2011 and hope that all your dreams come true. ( two of mine have 1 more to go).........

And for anyone new reading this this site is the best one you will find on the internet or anywhere for advice, friendship and just general chat, make the most of all the advice you get and mostly dont panic there is always a solution to everything - granted it may not be the what you want to hear but with a clear head its usually the best.... once again many thanks for all your help and advice and good luck for 2011 and the future....[:)]

Great news, I think you need to change you member name from 'seriously worried' to something a little bit more upbeat now though :D.

Great news and a wonderful start to the New Year. Nice to see creditors take a realistic and even sympathetic view and congratulations to Clearstart for fighting your corner and getting the variation approved.
