Where do I start really but to you who have read any of my previous posts you will know that I have been on my very own IVA journey where I chose McCambridge Duffy as the team to 'guide' me through it. Well, for sure that was the best decision I ever made.

When mt IVA became unviable in January of this year when I was unable to return to employment following the birth of our second child it quickly became the same stomach wrenching stress and worry all over again as it was before entering my IVA. Having no funds to offer my creditors as a final settlement I was faced with what I thought was my only option of being declared bankrupt. The very thing I have always wanted and tried to avoid.

This was until however my husband won a small amount of money on the irish lottery which he was prepared to offer my creditors on the basis of a full and final settlement. The problem however is that it was such a small sum and would be a fraction of the original dividend to that of what my creditors signed up to.

It is only with posting on this forum and by the interaction of its members that Michael Peoples of McCambridge Duffy gave me the hope to put my offer forward as I had nothing else to lose by doing so. He went so far and above the call of duty for me and 'took my individual case on' with his colleagues at McCambridge Duffy. What happened next is nothing short of a miracle in my view.

It is with the biggest and most sincere thanks that I send to Michael, Roisin and Aisling at McCambridge Duffy as they and the rest of the team secured acceptance of my husband's F&F offer!!!!

It took a lot of extremely hard work and dedication on their part to achieve this and despite an initial rejection from my majority creditor Aisling continued to work tirelessly by adjourning my meeting until she had demonstrated and negotiated with my creditors until finally yesterday morning she telephoned to say my offer had been accepted!!! To be honest I am still in a state of shock as this is what I had hoped and prayed for but feared it would not be possible.

Everything that has been done by McCambridge Duffy for me and ultimately for my family should not be underestimated, they have changed my life and for the first time in 15 years I can look to the future with bright prospects knowing that I will be debt free.

There is no doubt in my mind that the only reason my creditors agreed to my husbands full and final offer is because of everyone's hard work at McCambridge Duffy, I know only too well having read other reviews that other firms are not as hard working or caring of their clients needs. This is why I want to shout from the roof tops that if anyone, anywhere finds themselves in a position of needing insolvency advice and help then look no further than McCambridge Duffy.

This very forum is what I relied upon before choosing McCambridge Duffy as the company that I would wish to proceed with on my IVA and it is also a forum that I sought support from through my own personal journey. If one single person can be helped with my own personal experience and review then that is a positive outcome I believe.

There really arent enough words for me to use to properly thank Michael, Roisin and Aisling and every other staff member at McCambridge Duffy who helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. I truly will be forever thankful and send to them the sincerest gratitude from the bottom of my heart.

Not forgetting all of you forum members who helped me in ways unimaginable to get me to the place where I now find myself fortunate to be in.

All I need to do now is wait on my paperwork, my husband will pay the settlement across and hopefully then time will do the rest towards completion.

I do not intend to 'go away ' from this forum but rather intend to still drop by and remind everyone never to give up hope! There is light at the end of the tunnel.

We are all delighted and I know Aisling really went the extra mile. I could try and take the credit but to be fair it was the supervisory team who pulled it off. We are really pleased for you and your kind words are truly appreciated. I have passed them on.

Great post and goes to show that a company who regards its clients as individuals and will do all they can to support them is worth it's weight in gold. Well done to all at McCD :-)
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

One of the best good news story for a while - congratulations.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
