I've just had a nasty letter from that DCA who keep hounding me, I want to bring my appt with my hospital social worker forward next week, regarding helping me with my BR application, obviously i'm having to keep calm because of my heart, but i want to ring them and tell them what is going to happen and not to keep bothering me in the meantime, what do i say ? I also have no cash for BR, and will never, any ideas ? Ta.

Quark, I think you should tell them what is happening and tell them to do their worst!

If they bankrupt you then it costs you nothing. You've no home they can reposses so let them get on with it! They can't do anything to you that you don't want done already.

The worst they can do is make you bankrupt. You would not need lots of suits for court as it can only happen once!

Even if someone turns up at your door (unlikely) then tell them you are going for bankruptcy and they will go away. Your personal belongings are safe,

Let us know - don't let them get to you, your health is more important.

I don't see why they should keep hounding you now when you have told them that you are going to go bankrupt.

Change your number Quark - they can't hassle you then.

I agree with Jan on everything said! Change your number Quark there is nothing they or you can do. Your health & well being must come first.

Just tell them to get on with it! They can do nothing worse than make you bankrupt and it will save you money.

I'd just say that you're not bothered - make me BR and put the phone down!

They can't do anything else to him, and it would be better if they made him bankrupt!

Let 'em get on with it!

Quark, you have done the best you can and you can hold your head up high! I'd give you a character reference any day and I've never met you!

Change that phone number so they can no longer harrass you - then again, what more can they do?

You and your health are more important than any debt.

You can hold your head up high Quark, you have done everything you possibly can with your IVA, your health come first & no one can predict what is going to happen to us regarding health & well being.
If they want to make you BR, then let them, its going to save you money in the long run! In your circumstances I would not be scared at all, just very proud that you tried. Enjoy those baths & get those books read Quark.

I think it's fantastic how many of us decent folk on here actually have the bravery to grow a set and tackle our debts, make a plan, learn a thing or two and move on successfully in life. Sometimes plans work and sometimes, for whatever reason, they don't. All of you on here should be proud with whatever plans you have instigated or sought for yourselves, there is no shame with being in debt,or overstretching oneself unless you are wearing tight trousers and they split, ahem. Seriously though, if a plan fails, and the bully collection agencies start kicking you down even further, remember they are just that and the forum and her friends are your guide. This place is an absolute lifeline.I am almost sure all of us on here have the bestest of futures both mentally and financially. I shall shut up before i break wind !!!!

Of course i will, i am just getting my head round the fact that the shoe is temporarily on the other foot, i ask to be made BR and they say no, despite all the threats to make me so....... it is most immediately and more than likely forever, quite silly.
