After a very stressful end to 2009 where my debt situation well and truly came to a head and my marriage collapsed, I came across this website whilst I was searching for a solution to my financial worries.
I have to commend everyone for being so supportive to one another and it gave me the confidence I needed to contact Melanie Giles' company for some advice on an IVA. I must say that her team that I have spoken to have been brilliant and I feel like a massive weight is starting to lift off my shoulders and I am sleeping through the night again.
I know that once i start my IVA, it will not be an easy journey but I feel like at last I can start to look forwards and move on with my life.

Hello Sally and welcome to the forum.

So sorry to hear that your marriage has broken down, and that you have had a bad time.

However, you've found us now and we are a friendly lot and will help you with support and advice. You've also chosen an excellent IP in Mel.

Good luck with your application and I hope 2010 will be a much better year for you.

I was reading through some of Melanie Giles' posts on these forums and she seems so approachable and understanding. I am looking forward to working with her and her team and the thought that in 5 years time I will be over my financial woes is a massive relief. Believe me, I never want to look at another credit card again. I put all my credit cards through the shedder the other day and is was a strangely satisfying feeling.[:)]

I'm with Melanie Sally and can confirm she is a top IP and deserves a lot more recognition than the forum can give her although this is a good start. She really is a real person who lives in the real world, any problems and she'll be there for you I can confirm that, always contactable and always understanding and tells it how it is.

Hi and a warm welcome from me too Sally.

You can put 2009 behind you and you have made a great start on your journey by choosing a great IP company.

As you say it may not always be easy but it will be better than having debt hanging over you. There'll be plenty of support on here and not only for debt issues...we're a friendly lot [:)]
