Hi all,

I have won 80 pounds from a 3 pounds freebie on a bingo site - if I withdraw this do I have to give it to the IVA company?

Any thoughts helpful,

Thanks

(I may just leave it in and enter Bingo games with a high pay off - you never know - I have not deposited any money to get this!)

I think you will be ok with this, depends upon what your proposal/chairmans report says. You could check with them if you're worried about it.

I certainly don't know how to do so but for £80 I think you will be ok, especially if you leave it there to roll over.

If you are at all worried, contact your IP.

My proposal is for anything over £500 as well so my little wins during the footy season are all mine hehe.

Every weekend I put a 2 pound accumaltor on 6 away Football games with decent odds. Better than lottery as can try to use skill to predict. If pays off win about £90 usually and win once or twice a season so use it for a nice night out!
1st payment Oct 2008, last payment Dec 2013. Certificate received March 2015 due to PPI claim.

I have never placed a bet in my life and the only time I have ever beenn in a betting shop was on duty to deal with a reported theft!!

The lottery is my only gambling.

I used to work in a betting shop, I hated every minute of it. The money some people hand over the counter is saddening, especially when you can see that they cannot afford it; I always felt like refusing the bet. It was nice to see the little old ladies win though, they were normally regulars who gambled a couple of pounds a week on multiples; nice feeling handing over fistfulls of money to them.
Alas, I am dying beyond my means.

Gambling (other than the lottery) is not something that has ever appealed to me.

I went to Las Vegas some years ago, put a few dollars in a slot machine (well you have to in Vegas don't you?)- won $50 and cashed it in, much to the cashiers surprise!

It was way back in the 90's though!

I'd do that again today though.

Gambling will tend to do more harm than good, football begts you can register for the skysoccer6 and you can win 100k if you get the result and score correct in 6 games. 5k for getting the most of anyone. stick to the lotto. New yourk and spanish i won £280 for 50p and 3 numbers out of 6. maybe more than that now.

A flutter on either the UK lottery or Euromillions sometimes is one thing.

Anything else is not good if you are in an IVA.
