It's brilliant knowing that the nasty bills are not going to pop through the letter box in January!

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

Well another xmas is behind us, my last in IVA. Hope you all had a good one, and got something nice. I have just done my xmas shopping on the web, the thing i wanted was £199, but 25 December is only a date. Bought it on Amazon on there boxing day sale yesterday for £84.99 delivered, and it will be here thursday. 5 years ago i would have said to hell with it and paid the full price. Did same last year, got a new pair of golf shoes for £39.99 2 days after they were on sale at £79.99, and didnt use them till March, what a saving.
Happy Christmas to all my new forum friends, I hope you all had a fantastic time. It is a wonderful feeling knowing no nasty bills in January, although we have only been in the IVA since April this is our second frugal Christmas as I was in a DMP this time last year, this year I found a lot easier maybe the budgeting lessons are working.
