Hi Popcorn
I am still new to this, can you tell me the company that helped you, I also have a similar amount with NR, and a few others.

Thanks

I find that Northern Rock are accepting most sensible voluntary arrangement proposals these days, and I personally find them one of the most amenable creditors to work with.

hi woody

when you have nr as a creditor melanie puts the propsal for 72 months rather than 60 months, so ours is for 72 months with equity release up to 85% in the final year!

hubby had 2 loans totalling 60 thousand with northern rock which was 65% of his debt!

you wont go wrong with melanie, she makes sure she puts the best proposal forward for both the creditors and yourself and she has an excellent success record!

good luck let us know how you go on, but you are in safe hands!

Not always Barbara - sometimes they will accept five years, it really just depends on the circumstances and how many payments have already been made off the loan.

thanks melanie!

sorry woody i gave you wrong information then, i thought it would be over 72 months if nr your creditor but melanie just said maybe only over 60 months, if that was the case for you that would be even better!

sure melanie will look at your individual circumstances and advise you!
