Hi

I have my IVA with Accuma. Have offered a full and final offer and my IP has said its a really good offer which has taken at least 3 weeks to happen. I have sent everything I have been asked for but now I'm told it's with their variations team but they wont put a timescale on how long it will take from here only saying that they have a lot to deal with. Am just concerned the whole thing will now drag on into next year, should it take this long in your experience?

Thanks as always

Hi Snoogle

Most insolvency practitioners are really busy at the moment, myself included, and variations tend to take a bit of a back seat to the proposing of new proposals to be frank.

That said, there should be no reason why they cannot give you an idea of timeline on this, but do not be suprised if you are quoted a couple of months depending on how busy they are at the moment.

Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner for over 20 years.

Hi all

My variation was accepted this morning which is fantastic. I actually feel a bit numb at the moment but am sure it will all hit me later!

I offered a full and final offer of £0.47 in £ against the original proposal which offered £0.46. My mum provided me with a lump sum from an inheritance so I'm v lucky I guess.

Alliance and Leicester
Nationwide
Amber Loan

All above voted yes but most of my creditors didn't bother voting.

Thank you all for all your support on this forum it's really made life easier and has picked me up when I've been having stresses and worries about things.

Thanks again!
