Hello,

I have an IVA with a company called Accuma Insolvency Practitioners Ltd (Accuma Group) and was supposed to have my annual review last month. I was sent a letter a few weeks ago to inform me that my supervisor had left the company and I should continue to make payments as normal.

I am a little concerned as I have noticed that the description on my Direct Debit has changed from Accuma Client DD to Accuma Client AW!?!

I enquired about this with my bank and they gave a completely different address for this company, which has worried me a little because when I rang the number they gave me it was a different company, so I found the number myself and called to see why my details have changed.. but no one answered the phone, just got a voicemail telling me of their opening hours!

I still have not heard anything about my review and am starting to get concerned that something is wrong!

Can anyone help or advise on this please, I would be grateful?

I am with Accuma as well and I had a letter from Accuma regarding my first year review giving me 14 days to fill out a new expenditure form etc which I did. I sent that back in the beginning of April.

I then had a letter a couple of weeks ago saying exactly what you had, that my Supervisor had changed and to continue to make payments... my IP was Diane and it has now changed to Andrew.

I haven't contacted Accuma because I have had so much stress and hassle from this company... I really do despise them and that is such a strong view coming from timid little me!!

It is interesting to know that you had the same IP, but what worries me is that it's been a month and I have not heard anything yet.. is this normal??

Has you DD description changed too?

They are indeed debtfreesusie.

My IP is Mr Wilkinson too and a VERY top bloke he is too. You'll usually get a reply from him within 1-2 hours tops with any queries you have. :o)

I have just checked and it has changed, I believe DD is Dianes initials and AW is Andrews initials. I am slightly concerned that you have a different telephone number for them though and no-one is answering.

Like I said I have had nothing but trouble with Accuma so nothing surprises me with them!!!

My review was due on the 21st May, had all the forms and sent back in April and have heard nothing since!

Aaah, I see. Then perhaps I have Mr Wilkinson also. That makes sense. It was my bank who gave me the wrong address and number so maybe it was just a mistake!?

Phew!

Does anyone know how long it takes with regards to the review? Like I said, Review due 21st May, filled out all forms beginning of April and heard nothing since.

Perhaps Mr Wilkinson is inundating with reviews so maybe this is why it's taking a long time!

Hi - My hubby's IVA is with Accuma and I have to say they've been really good (touch wood).

His 1st review was due Feb 08 - had a letter saying they were running behind ( legally they have 2 months to complete a review). The review was carried out without any hassle.

We don't pay by DD as salary date changes so much - accuma allow us to pay via debit card on a monthly basis.
Haven't had any letter about change of address either.

Everyone has different experiences.

my views are well known i think. lol

Their admin staff are horrendous and i refuse to pay by DD now cos they have messed it up so many times.

As I said above though, Andrew has been fantastic and a total credit to their company.

I don't bother with the admin staff anymore. Most of my queries were re them messing up DD's so the only queries i have now, i need to go to him anyway.

I've just received an email from Accuma to inform me that Andrew Wilkinson is my new IP and that my annual report has been drafted, which is with "the team" and will be sent to me "shortly" :-)
