I never really had any problems with Accuma, always very helpful when you phone them. The only negative is that they were a bit slow but I guess this year they have a good enough reason! It's just our bad luck that our annual review (24th April) coincided with everything going on with the takeover by Grant Thornton. I am just hoping it's good news and our payments don't go up because I've just had to take a pay cut. I think we will just about be able to keep our payments the same with some careful budgeting but not if we have to increase our payments! It's the not knowing that is painful. Nevertheless, Jenna from Grant Thornton put my mind at ease and said it will all be sorted soon, so fingers crossed....

Thanks Jan. I'm not unhappy just apprehensive. I've had no problems with Accuma at all.

Destiny our review dates are within a few days of each other so it's the same here about being slow this year.

If Grant Thorton are also the same firm that carry out audits then they are very professional.

They most certainly are, and if there is a slight delay with annual reviews (understandable given the circumstances) then they are sure to catch up as soon as possible.

we are with Accuma and have been in contact with them over the last month or talking about F&F and bascially struggling to cope with our monthly I&E nothing has been said o us about this change over, not that im too fused though i have never had any bad dealings with Accuma i have found them slow with sending paperwork out, and have a few times mislaid certain documents which we have never got back - change is never a bad thing

I think that GT intend to contact their new clients once their annual reviews become due, so there is nothing to worry about - just keep making the payments and let your current case managers know about any queries in the meantime.

Sorry to sound stupid Melanie - but if it's all changed over to GT already, how can we contact our case manager? Won't they be different people now? (assuming the change over has happened.) Btw do you happen to know if they've made the change over yet?

i've not heard anything either but when i emailed thurstan hacking i got a reply from a Jenna Warburton who gave me her details to contact from now on. I'll dig her details out Monday at latest (on work email) if anyone is interested. She's better than most accuma people i've ever dealt with (excluding Thurstan and my IP Andrew Wilkinson)
