Hi all
I have not been around for quite some time and notice lots of newbies around which is a good sign that the forum is as popular as ever and that people are obviously finding a great level of support here.

Thought I would drop a line to let you know that I was discharged earlier this month. Its been a long road but has actually passed very quickly and smoothly and when I reflect where I was in life 12 months ago compared to today I am positive BR was the right decision for me. (IVA Proposal rejected by NR)

For all of you who are contemplating Bankruptcy as a resolution to your situation good luck. It is not easy making the first steps but as long as you co operate fully it will be a lot easier than you imagined.

A huge thanks to Melanie too, who gave me much of her own time with additional support after my IVA was rejected and that was very much appreciated.

Regards

Pippa

I can't believe that the past year has gone so quick! Well done! Did you manage to sort out the house issue?

Hi melanie

Yes the house and everything else was sorted, all credit to the trustee at GT who handled everything they were brilliant.
We had a bit of a hic up with Mums re mortgage, and had to renegotiate the BI a couple of times but they never made an issue of it and it was all settled quickly.

Time to move on, have learnt a very big lesson, looking back you realise how much of your life was absorbed by the worry of debt (years). Life is very different when you are free to put that time & energy to better use.

Thanks again Melanie

Best wishes all and thanks for the comments

Pippa
