Advice for Ox

Thanks I have been talking to Tina and Amie and probably annoying them too especially Tina with my texts

I need to let them get on and do their jobs and try and help us and I will try and fight my own demons and fears on my own

I am just scared of what might happen and am not coping well but will have to for my family

My youngest son is home from Uni, he has brought a friend from Luxembourgh, and they both study game design. My pc and Mrs h`s work laptop are really struggling with the demand. I drove to Southampton and back and have never seen them since.
Honestly his bedroom is like mission control. tbh I saw them once tonight collecting dinner (which I cooked) lol

Funny you say that that was my main industry strength video games I have over 8 years of experience in that industry 5 years at one famous company and then some years trying to set up an app studio which added to my problems as a founder I was expecting a full time job from it and then had to work for free which stretched my home life and they owed me alot of money they nearly went bust hut are still surviving just
Only benefit to it all is that I got alot of games, consoles and an ipad for free so kids are happy
Left it all for now but would love to find way back in

I used to play video games in my twenties on the Megadrive but as the years passed I lost interest, even though my kids (who are 22 and 25) played them loads. I was a bit like Dad dancing at the disco when they beat me on their consoles.

Well we will see if it is successful eventually but when your son finishes I have some good contacts for jobs if I can help

So do you still have an interest in it?

I have shares in it worth nothing at moment but I also know alot of people in the industry if your son needs some good contacts and I also know someone at a good agency

I am really struggling with it slept ok but woke up with alot of aniexty does not help with stress levels pre work every day

If you are anything like me Ox, it helps me to talk talk talk even if i am going round in circles so if you are only stopping posting through fear of annoying other people then dont, if however you think its not doing you any good, then stop, if that makes sense.
