I know hyperdrive I am really struggling every day now
Counselling letter came today but you have to initally have a telephone assessment before they do anything
I just am struggling with the reality of it all, if we get the F&f approved then I know we can survive but I just keep getting focussed on the worst case and seeing that as life ending whereas I know its not meant to be but its just my kids in BR I worry about I dont know what would happen
People must think im stupid worrying over a smaller debt thans others but its the impact on my children I am concerned about at the moment

The problem is your state of mind and I can understand how difficult it is. I think you should call that number today.
Anyway the only person who can give you solid advice on the financial side is Tina.
It`s been at least a week since she got the paperwork. What`s her conclusion?

Mel is happy to propose the F&F on the basis it is better for creditors and also that my job is only a 12m contract the paperwork I sent is driven towards getting the final prosposal together and get date booked I am iust so negative around it and feel it would get rejected and then we would have to go BR amd that scares me senseless

Mel is the best in the business. If she`s "happy" you have absolutely no worries. Her success rate on applications is higher than the already high industry standards - 98% I think. If I was applying for an IVA know, I would choose her team, and I dare say most everyone else on the Forum would too.
So what`s the next step towards your better future?

I hope so I am in mental anguish and torture
I just want to avoid BR and get on and enjoy my lovelyfamily

At the end of the day that was my prime motivation - the effect on my family. It wasn`t just me that was suffering.
So you`ve got the most important thing in the world to get cured for. Make that call.

I have booked in for 10th june earliest I could get
The family I dont think are suffering the kids are still happy as they dont understand and the wife is just coping better I think she has a view that they have to accept the F&F else they risk getting nothing and she would rather go a dmp than go BR I know deep down she is scared and had spoken to noone about it and had noone either to talk to
Is it only me that also thinks that BR is life ending I have had people tell me that yes things wont be the same but you can be happy again

I just crave to stop feeling like this and be happy with my family again they are my priority not money or anything

Why am I fixated by BR I have decided it is plaguing my every hour and minute at the moment. That and losing my home and impacting the kids

And i get the feeling everyone on here thinks I am nowhere near that

I think she thinks that otherwise she would not be looking at the IVA and wasting her staffs time. That is what I am hoping. I think she is quite used to the F&F proposals and looking at the other post today I have a little more confidence that ours is a good offer as we are offering similar on less debt. Thats makes sense doesn't it.
So I did not realise your IVA was complete Hyperdrive, have you got your CC yet when do you think you will get it. Must feel good

Our F&F was accepted on 12 April and I was told it will take 2 months to distribute the funds so no CC yet.I guess I`ll start hounding them for it after the Bank Holiday. You any plans with the family for the weekend?
