hi trees

i am so sorry - you really are having a bad time of it at the moment.
as others have said i have friends also who have had lumps that have turned out to be nothing!

as for the phone calls, if they are really getting to you (and you really dont need it at the moment) - dont answer it and tell family to ring 3 times so you know that it is them, ring off and ring again!

am thinking of you and sending you a big hug!

love barb x
12 down - 60 to go! woo hoo!

Agree with Barb, I would not answer creditors calls at the moment- that is the last thing you need at the moment.

If there is no way of not answering the phone try explaining to them about your health worries and can they leave you alone for a few weeks. May be worth writing to them and explaining.
I am sure an expert will give further advice regarding the calls...
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

Emma x

Trees.Try not to worry too much.Lots of women find lumps. They happen at certain times in the menstral cycle, they are about fatty tissues, cysts etcYou will be seen promptly, proberbly have biopsy, ultra sound, mamograms (we all get on now from the age of 47)Then they say vertually there and then.So no massive waits. If it's ay kind of reassurance my aunty was sent directly from the GP surgery with everyone over fussing. She was clearly slightlyconcerned that the NHS had sprang into a worrying kind of action.Fortunately, it was a cyst but her symptoms were very concerning. What I'm saying is they would rapidly respond if they saw a defiante need?
I'm sure you don't need the stress right now though.Thinking of you.Cat

my friend has just had a lump removed, wasn't malignant though.. its best to get these things sorted.. I always check mine after my friends saga.. (hubby offers to help, but if you want a job doing properly!!!) they will do a biopsy after mammogram if anything like our hospital!! Don't worry about your creditors.. they can wait!

I have had two lumps removed, and last year had a needle biopsy, everything fine, none have been anything sinister but always better to be safe than sorry. Chin up, a very high percentage are cysts. My two ops were many years ago (at least 10), I've had mammograms and scans and biopsies and everything has always been fine. Big hugs to you xx
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Trees, scary stuff I well understand. I too have had a couple of friends with similar and as the others have said turned out to be cysts. I had one on the front of my leg from bang many years ago and was in a right state, working in the proffession makes you worse. Mine turned out to just be fatty tissue, as if I havent got enough of that already. Concentrate on your self, dont worry about the creditors and try not to worry. Things must get better soon.

Ang xx

Trees thinking of you I hope you are okay.

I too have never had an experience like this all my problems are at the other end too.
Hopefully it will just be a cyst like everyone is saying. Fingers crossed.

I'm not coming back as a woman!!

Big hugs xx

Just wanted to give you a hug. I am under my local screening clinic (check ups every 6 months with an open walk in appointment if I need it in a hurry). I am at high risk because my mum and one of her sisters have both had lumps and removal etc etc. Another sister has a benign condition. I have found a few lumps and bumps in the past year or so and after having ultrasound (I was too young to have a mammagram - have to be 35 in my area) I have enlarged and not so smooth milk ducts which causes the lumps and burning pain. At some point in the future I will have to have these stripped out as even though I am already high risk due to family, I am now at even greater risk. As everyone has already said, most lumps and bumps are cysts or fatty deposits. An ultrasound is very painless and done in 2 minutes, a mammagram is a little uncomfortable but only because of the positions you have to be in. The staff are really good and very caring and make you feel like a person and not just a number. Big hugs and thoughts xx

Hi Trees, try not to worry.

A few years ago i had a lump and had to have an ultrasound which showed it to be just a cyst.

More recently i found another lump and had my mum check it out for me incase i was imagining it. Mum said it was a rib i felt LOL because i had got so thin. I had convinced myself i had cancer and started reading up and it turns out that in women of a certain age, lumps can appear when periods are due and all it is is glands. Anyway, period came and lump went.

Anyway.......HUGS.......xxx
